HOW TO READ A POKEMON CARD
WHAT TYPE OF POKEMON CARD DO I HAVE
In the above photo are the Pokemon Elements.
Grass, Fire, Water, Lighting, Physic, Earth or Fighting, Dark, Metal, Colorless, Dragon.
There also is one called Fairy is is a dark pink with a Heart.
HOW RARE IS THE CARD
in the photo above is the rarity chart for Pokemon cards. The rarity can be found at the bottom of the card next to the card number. Newer cards this on the right side and older cards to the left.
POKEMON CARD NUMBERS
Pokemon Cards have numbers located at the bottom of the card.
These numbers can be located on the left or right side.
The numbers tell you the number of the card and how many cards.
Example: 1/100. This means 100 cards printed and you got #1.
WHAT YEAR IS MY CARD
The year of the card will be on the bottom Left or Right side and sometimes in the Middle of the card.
This will dpend on what year the card is.
HOW TO GET A PRICE OR SEE THE VALUE OF MY CARD
The top resource is called TCGPLAYER.COM but I also like PRICE CHARTING.
You can download this App on your phone to scan cards from both companies.
Enter the Card name and number on Google also works usually.
HOW TO TELL IF A CARD IS FAKE
I run into this a lot with all the cards I get. It is getting harder and harder to tell fake cards.
I go by the motto if it seems to be to good to be true it probably is.
